09 - 10. travnja 2011. - Split, Hrvatska.
Ovogodišnje Prvenstvo Hrvatske za klasu IOM je bila regata koju je organizirao JK Mornar iz Splita. Nastupilo je 17 natjecatelja i natjecateljica među kojima su bila 2 prijatelja iz Mađarske i jedan Izraelski jedriličar kojem je ovo druga IOM regata u Hrvatskoj u posljednja tri mjeseca!
Kao posebnost regate može se spomenuti i premijerni nastup dva domaća jedriličara koji trenutno nastupaju u krstašima i na RC44 na međunarodnoj sceni. Riječ je o Anti Česiću i Andriji Lukendi.
Oba dana je bilo jako sunčano uz ljetne temperature. Prvi dan je vjetar bio jako slab, dok je izvan gradske luke bilo više od 15 čvorova maestrala.
Za nedjelju je prognoza obećavala mnogo vjetrovitije uvjete s burom u prijelazu na maestral. Svi su se nadali uvjetima za B komplet, ali na kraju je samo povremeno bilo na graničnim uvjetima za A.
Već prvi dan se na rezultatskoj ljestvici značajno odvojio Robert Matulja s velikom bodovnom razlikom ispred 2. i 3.
On je ujedno pokazao i najravnomjernije jedrenje dok su svi ostali imali ulaze na skoro svim mjestima.
Ovo mu je treća pobjeda u nizu, a i prethodna dva puta je pobjedio jednako dominantno kao i ovaj vikend! Svi se nadamo da će ovako visoku formu uspjeti održati i na Svjetskom prvenstvu u West Kirbyju, a ako to uspije tada će sve biti moguće.
Na iduća dva mjesta su se našli aktualni Svjetski i Europski prvaci, Zvonko Jelačić i Marko Matić.
Iduća kriterijska regata će biti u Trogiru za mjesec dana, a u međuvremenu će reprezentacija započeti s intenzivnim, tematskim treninzima u reprezentativnom kampu koji će svoju bazu u ovom periodu postaviti u Splitu.

This year's Croatian Championship for the IOM class was organized by JK Mornar from Split. On regatta sailed 17 competitors, with two friends from Hungary and one Israeli sailor for whom this was the second IOM regatta in Croatia in the last three months!
As a special feature of the regatta can be mentioned premiere performance of two local sailors who are currently sailing in the big boats by ORCi and in the RC44 on the international scene. This are Ante Česić and Andrija Lukenda.
Both days were very sunny with summer temperatures. The first day the wind was very weak, while outside the city's harbour was more than 15 knot breeze.
Forecast for Sunday was very promising with windy conditions with north wind in the transition to maestral breeze. All were hoping that will be enough wind for B set, but in the end it was only occasionally on the boundary conditions for A.
The first day by the results Robert Matulja was ahead of all with a great score difference in front of the second and third.
He also showed the most continous sailing while the rest were included in almost all places.
This is his third victory in a row, and the previous two times he won as dominant as this weekend! We all hope that he will succeed to keep his form on high level like last months also for the World Championships in West Kirby. If he succeeds in that then will all be possible.
For the next two places were found current World and European champions, Zvonko Jelačić and Marko Matić.
The next race will be in Trogir for a month. In the meantime the national team will begin will intensive, thematic trainings in representative camp which will be in this period set in Split.
